We know, they're "Deckplan Engineers", Designers floor constructors etc. out there.
I think, that each have it's unique design philosophy.
Mine is to create vessels, I'm able to use in adventures. I plan them as ships, where you can stay long time, so you will always see bed-, hygiene- and foodrooms. And that most people will have their own room, at least their own bed. (not so common in military vessels)
I'm very interested in that things work, not especially how. So my ships should be "cool", not costeffective.
Sometimes I think about "NPC"- Ships like tugs, passenger carriers or "Hunting vessels" that could be send by Empire or Pirates.
But my favourites are explorers, scouts, little freighters... well: PlayerCharacter- group ships.
I currently work at a "private vessel" of a NSC I use from time to time.
What are your philosophies? What are you currently working?
What do you think about "Stlye over Substance"?
What are you currently working on?
