Been a gruesome build this one, but hey, what's done is done.

It may have been a gruesome build, but it looks like it was worth it. Another great job. :-)

It's not the job of a transport to look good.

But I like the design and be sure, it's a great SC / NSC Vessel

Generally very nice - reminds me somewhat of a modern front-loading car ferry. I can see this vessel being emptied and reloaded very efficiently.

Except for that tertiary hold... it rankles me that on a ship whose entire reason for being is cargo hauling has one of its cargo bays so difficult to access that it is "often left empty".

Is it practical to add a medium-heavy duty turbolift accessing that hold from below?

On the subject of turbolifts, do the ones shown go all the way to the ground (for loading without the ramps) or are they internal only?

If the latter, could one added at the rear also go right to ground level for loading? This would allow the tertiary cargo hold to be loaded very easily, bringing it back into regular use instead of occasional. It would also gel with the idea of this space often being made over into passenger accommodation, as you could then embark passengers via the rear lift without them interfering with the cargo loading (or vice versa).

Well, it's more that tyhe stock ship has passenger space listed, and I chose to make it variable space. The idea being this space can be made to haul people, but is essentially just more cargo space.

You could, but that would eat into the lower cargo deck rather badly/ if you're planning on using every cubic centimeter of cargo space, having sixteen cubic meters taken up by a lift might not pan out. Yes, the third bay is awkward to get to (it's shape is defined by the large reactore core) but, given we'll be using droids to do it, what it ends up as is any cargo small enough to go in there can go in there just fine.

No, just to the lower load bay. They're to move crew and cargo within the ship.

I'm new and love your work on this ship. If I may I have 2 questions..

1. What are the dimensions of this ship overall?

2. What are the deck heights?

That you for your time and dedication on these ships. Great work as always!

All blue ships are on a scale of 35.5 pixels per meter, this ship is therefore 50 meters in length and 28 meters wide. I could get the depth but that would involve digging the model out of storage.

Most habitable decks are at least 2.5 meters, the cargo decks are taller though I can't recall by how much off the top of my head, again, I'd have to dig the model out.

That will only represent a problem as I'm taking delivery of a new PC tomorrow and will need to spend a few days rebuilding and cannibalising the rig. Lightwave is a bitch to install but it's also a high priority item, I'll get back to you.

Thank you for your prompt response. Take your time. I've decided to have my players us this ship as the deckplans work best for my campaign(and you have the best deckplans around) and so far finding any other stats for it kinda sucks. Any info would be helpful. Thank you again.
