But I just thought I'd mention there's a new section in the Misc. category.

The Defiant and Launch complex crawler, Terrordrome (the toy version not the cracked out, ginormous version from the cartoon) and the Mobile Command Center (the brown thing that came out the same year as the Defiant and looked like a tackle box) would be epic and right up on par with your Star Wars stuff as far as content goes.

The Defiant will be getting a minor facelift, as I'm just not happy with having the booster section being a whole vehicle. The crawler might also get stripped of weapons, I just can't really see it as a combat platform.

The terrordrome will be coming very soon. I'm thinking of doing two different sizes, one at the toy scale and a larger one, not due to the TV series (Which I've never seen, nor really want to) but the TD's in the comics were often shown as being larger.

The MCC will also get made, but I'm going to be keeping it 'real' as it were and ditching the great toy but stupid idea of it folding open in favour of either an internal lift, or more likely simple ladders.

There have been a few more updates in the last few days including the Claw, the Bugg and the Mantis.

I'm generally adopting a quasi-realistic policy for these boys, which often means down-gunning them. I'm also tweaking a few design elements as I go and you might have noticed I'm adopting a few default colour schemes where appropriate, including using the Mocassin's green as a Cobra ground forces default.

One of these days I'm also going to get round to writing up the full alternative history timeline I have mentally outlined. It provides an alternative story for the G.I.Joe universe that is, at least I hope, more or less plausible.

Lets be frank - the central premise as it stands is amazingly silly.

There's been a fairly large addition to the roster, plus I've divided up the page into goodies and baddies. The link above still works to get you there, though.

As being American you made my eye-twitch at the concept of down-gunning (joke), but I guess I can see that covering every square meter with a missile or machinegun could get tedious.

oh...and what's up with taking the big "here I am to shoot in the chest chair" from the HAVOC?

but in all seriousness...why the swing-arm for the front wheel with the Cobra Stun?

Well, that, but also in many cases the proliferation of weapons systems would be counter-productive.

Well, you said it, it was dumb. Getting rid of the chair was a prerequisite, it was either that or ditch the entire vehicle. On the plus side getting rid of it allowed the addition of the turret, which makes the platform slightly more viable.

Well, after deleting the swinging pods it was left with that really odd shaped hull, which i figured worked well as a boat hull. Having the front wheel pivot and swing back under the aft section allows the boat hull to aquaplane up.

A fair few additions to the line up recently, Rattler, Arctic Vamp, Slugger, TTBP, Terrordrome, Rattler and an annoyingly oversized Armadillo amongst them.

I've just uploaded the largest single image on the entirety of Colonial Chrome, the C-52 Cosmos Transport.

Whilst working out the scale of this behemoth I calculated that had it been made in normal GI Joe scale, it'd be over two meters long, that's slightly shorter than the Flagg, but definitely wider.

The Cosmos is just wide enough to take the Mobat and the Mauler, so I'm fairly sure it'll be able to take almost any Joe vehicle.
